Applied Research on the CaCl{sub}2 Aqueous Solution Quenching Medium

摘要

Our applied research has more than 10 years, and it indicated that the high concentration CaCl{sub}2 aqueous solution is a kind of ideal quenching medium used for workpieces which must have higher hardness and less deformation after quenching. This paper introduces the physical properties, preparation method and quenching properties of the CaCl{sub}2 aqueous solution, emphatically enumerates its practical uses in production and expounds the main point of its application.
