SAERTEX was founded in 1982 in Saerbeck, Germany, with 6 employees who had the vision to produce high quality, high-tech reinforcement textiles for the composite industry tailored to the specific needs of the customers and to offer related services. Now, 30 years later, SAERTEX has become the biggest global reinforcement textile manufacturer with 9 production facilities strategically located on 4 continents, about 900 employees globally and an output of about 90.000 MT of glass fiber fabrics, approximately 1.500 MT of carbon fiber fabrics and around 300 MT of aramid fabrics in 2011.
