An algorithm of technical parameter determination for line heating based on surface superposition is developed. Firstly, factors affecting deformation of line heating are divided into two categories: fixed parameters and control parameters, and the technical parameters for line heating are defined as position and control parameters of every heating line. Then, a multiple heating lines deformation superposition algorithm is derived under the given conditions such as configuration of plate, positions, fixed and control parameters of heating lines. Based on this algorithm, a non-linear goal-programming model for technical parameter determination of line heating is set up with minimum total acetylene consumption and the minimum total processing time as the objective constraints. Furthermore, a simplified form and solution to the model are proposed.
