摘要

Higher efficiency, lower CO2 emission and lower capital investment are the development tendency of the thermal turbomachinery. In this paper an overview is given on the stateof-the-art and future development in thermal turbomachinery used in power stations. Various cooling technologies, clocking technique and the investigations on the complex 3D flow field inside turbomachinery are focused by the author. Development of the new technologies, experimental and numerical investigations of the turbomachinery eventually lead to a more profound knowledge of the machine and the underlying process. With this knowledge, the machine design can be improved to meet the higher performance demand.
