Research of Mobile Agent Applied Network Performance Management

摘要

With the development of network, the variety of equipments and the heterogeneity of the architecture, it is required and important to build a consummate network management system. Performance management, as a main functional area of network management, should make it sure that the network runs credibly and stably, also should has its agility, validity and scalability. For that, a network performance management model applied mobile agent technology is set up. This paper studies the structure and process, and then makes analysis and comparisons with the pure SNMP network. That shows it is better theoretically and experimentally.
