摘要

The experimental determination of modal parameters in the railway industry has brought about a great improvement due to the development of modern modal analysis techniques. In this paper the authors present several cases solved by the use of these techniques, in which the experimental results analysis and its use in theoretic-experimental model synthesis are combined. The following cases are examined. The experimental analysis of a pantograph and the synthesis of a theoretical model based on these results, for the study of its interaction with the catenary. The modal analysis of safety equipment installed in a bogie, and the determination of its seismic response. The modal analysis of a complete vehicle. The theoretical description of the method used is presented, with a detailed explanation of the test method as well.
