For the Speckle noise takes the main responsibility for the quality decline of medical ultrasonic image, in order to carry out image analyse, multidimensional reconstruction, the performance of speckle reduced and filtered is required in an ultrasonic image processing. This paper provides a novel way for the speckle reducing in medical ultrasonic image, based on Anisotropic Diffusion method. We have outlined a partial differential equation(PDE)based on Anisotropic Diffusion. The initial value of the equation is the input image, we transform the equation to a differential form and go through iteration to acquire the final filtering result. Still the speckle scale function of the equation was modified to make better use in filtering medical ultrasonic images. As to medical ultrasonic image with quantity of speckles, by comparing the results to three other filters, we draw out that the anisotropic diffusion based equation no longer rely on alternative windows. Meanwhile the method can smooth the speckles very well and maintain the minutia of an image. Gone through the process of anisotropic diffusion, greatly facilitate the following step of image analyses or characteristic pick-up in a ultrasonic image. It was proved in the experimentation that anisotropic diffusion filtering method is available in removing speckles in the medical ultrasonic image.
