In this paper the authors give out some new way to divide the hinterland bonder of ports from the point of view that different region of the hinterland contributes the port, that is, the cycle-layer structure hinterland and the spot-axis structure hinterland. In this way the problems of the traditional divisions that it will cost large amount of money and time to investigate and it exists many errors in the process of forecasting. Then directed against the problem of crossed hinterland the paper gave a mathematic model for a theoretical solution. And by analysing the hinterland of Dalian the Northeast Asia International Shipping Centre the paper gave a typical demonstration of hinterland border division and got a satisfied result.
