Soft tissue sarcomas

Incidence and risk factors: Soft tissue sarcomas (STS) are a diverse group of cancers which collectively comprise 15 percent of all "malignancies" in the dog and 7 percent in the cat. With the exception of the vaccine-associated sarcomas in cats, thecause of STSs is unknown. Most STSs are solitary in the older animal and no definite sex or breed predilection is known.
