Design of Pilot Scale Once Through and Evaporative Cooling Water System Simulators

摘要

The cooling water system simulator is a highly automated pilot plant for evaluating the performance of anti-scaling, corrosion inhibitor and bio-fouling inhibitor chemicals in refinery cooling and bitumen extraction water systems which include heat exchangers and evaporative cooling towers. This paper describes the simulator's design, construction, modes of operation and commissioning.
