摘要

We have developed a novel methodology for aqueous organic reactions utilizing a 2-pyridyldimethylsilyl(PyMe_2Si)group as a removable hydrophilic group.The Diels-Alder reaction,photo-dimerization,and radical polymerization have been achieved with PyMe_2Si-substituted organic compounds in acidic aqueous solutions.The PyMe_2Si group was not only removal but also transformable by protodesilylation,oxidation,electrophilic substitution,and palladium-catalyzed reactions.
