摘要

Recently, we have reported that the thermal reactions of [MoH4(dppe)J (1, dppe = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) with a series of primary and secondary silanes lead not only to oxidative addition of a Si—H bond to the metal center but also to activation of the ortho C—H bonds of the dppe ligands to give a new class of molybdenum-silyl hydride complexes (2) and (3). These compounds represent a rare example in which a hydride-silyl complex is stable to silane elimination.
