Because ester is a ubiquitous functional group,thus esterification is one of the most fundamental and important reactions in organic synthesis.Transesterification is one type of the esterification and used quite often as a convenient means to prepare esters.Although several catalysis have been explored and developed,many of them required rather harsh reaction conditions,such as high reaction temperature,strongly acidic conditions,and highly nucleophilic conditions,resulting in low substrate generality.Therefore,there still remained much room for the improvement.
