摘要

A crack propagation process in a cracked structural element is usually treated for repeated (harmonic) loads. In practical engineering problems there is a combination of static and dynamic loads. In this presentation, the effect of such a combination on the propagation process is described. The modified Forman crack propagation differential equation is numerically solved (using MATLAB). The effects of random dynamic loading are also included.
