摘要

Streptococcus uberis is a major bovine mastitis-associated pathogen in many countries. The immune response associated with bovine mastitis is a complex biological process. Phagocytosis and bacteria killing by neutrophils are major defense mechanisms of bovine mammary gland(Rainard and Riollet, 2006). Hyaluronic acid capsule has been described to be associated with the anti-phagocytosis mechanism and being an important virulence factor of S. uberis. The objective of the study was to investigate the gene expressions of CXCL8 and TNFa of bovine polymorphonuclear cells (bPMNs) co-cultured with capsulated and non-capsulated S. uberis.
