DESIGN OF INTEGRATED DATA BASE FOR DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

摘要

This paper presents an integrated comprehensive data base model for distribution management system (DMS). The model is based on concept of the catalog and bays. Such concept provides fulfillment of two contradictory requirements: full flexibility taking into account a wide variety of network elements and configurations, and simple and efficient data management. First, the requirements which DMS data base model should satisfy in order to represent a complete and open system are specified. Next, the design of data base model that is based on a concept of catalog bays is showed, as well as benefits such approach provides in management of the enormous amount of distribution network data. Finally, it is shown how such data base model integrates with system of DMS analytical functions, as well as with other components of the system.
