E-Procurement Study: Benefits, Critical Success Factors, Barriers to Implementation, Means of Procurement, and Success Metrics

摘要

This study looks at the benefits, critical success factors, and barriers to eprocurement implementation as perceived by purchasing or procurement executives and practitioners. In addition, it looks into the types of goods purchased through eprocurement, cost savings gained, and the means of e-procurement deployed by the firm. This study applied the survey method using both mailed in questionnaires and an online version of the instrument addressed to a random sample of procurement managers and professionals listed in the roster of the Institute for Supply Management and the Council of Logistics Management.
