ITU-T Nonlinear Coefficient (n2/Aeff) Round Robin Measurements for Various Optical Fibers in Japan, USA, Switzerland and Italy

摘要

ITU-T (n2/Aeff) round robin of optical fibers in Japan, USA, Switzerland and Italy using Pulsed-LD SPM, CWLD SPM, sinusoidally modulated signal-SPM, XPM, and self-aligned Interferometric methods are first presented. The (n2/Aeff) values obtained from these different methods were a little scattered with the range of +/-15%.
