摘要

A plasma microjet system operating with helium at atmospheric pressure has been fabricated and investigated. The fabrication is based on a dielectric-barrier discharge driven by high voltage sinusoidal signals of audible frequencies. The produced jet is considered by means of photography, electrical measurements, and light emission measurements for different values of the working parameters. The main reactive species at the jet nozzle are eventually identified by UV-Visible optical emission spectroscopy. This combined study leads to the determination of stable operational windows providing increased chemical reactivity and permits suggestions on the operation mode of the microjet.
