The interaction between two counter-streaming atmospheric pressure plasma jets is investigated in the present work. The individual plasma jets are formed between two ring electrodes surrounding a quartz tube and driven using a kHz excitation frequency. The emission from these jets, while continuous to the naked eye, on a time scale of nano-seconds emits discrete guided streamers or "plasma pulses". Two of these guided streamers are allowed to interact with each other in open air and a controlled environment and an interesting dynamics occurs. Time and space resolved images show that the guided streamers appear to repel one another through an electrical interaction.
