Posterior eye wall thickness, axial eye length, refraction and ocular circulation

120 eyes of 31 males and 29 females {52.1 +1.1 years) were examined. Among them there were 25 normal eyes, 22 eyes with ocular hypertension and 73 glaucomatous eyes (primary and secondary open-angle or normal tension glaucoma).Axial eye length and posterior eye wall thickness were measured with standardised A-scan ultrasound (Mini-A) with an 8 MHz probe. Retinal microcirculation temporal to the optic disc was determined by scanning laser Doppler flowmetry.
