Functional information on ocular blood circulation using Color Doppler

The main functional aspect of the orbital blood circulation is the blood supply to the eyeball, but unfortunately, one is unable to measure the diameter of the vessels and therefore to calculate flow volume, So, the information on the blood supply to the eyeball is limited to blood flow velocities (which are measured with Doppler), and to indexes (which are calculated). These two parameters can give an evaluation of the blood supply.
