Summary report of the Third Collaborative Technology for Coordinating Crisis Management (CT2CM) Track

摘要

The CT2CM track of the 22nd IEEE International Workshops on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE), in this third edition, proves again that crisis management is not only an application domain where existing solutions and particularly collaborative technologies can be simply and directly used for crisis management, but it can be rather considered as a multidisciplinary domain where research must be driven by practice and field specificities, and where both co-evolve in an harmonious virtuous loop. In fact, developing collaborative usable solutions, having big chances to become effectively used, is a challenging task mainly for crisis management. Indeed, in this domain, tight collaboration among multidisciplinary teams is required to firstly get a good understanding of emergency management processes and an efficient assessment of existing practices and experiences. Then, design and deployment of adequate "Enabling Technologies" for Collaborative management is required.
