Non-contact Mapping and Ablation of Double-loop Reentry During Typical Atrial Flutter

Typical atrial flutter has been characterized as a macroreentrant tachycardia confined in the right atrium (RA) using conventional mapping techniques. However, the three-dimensional (3D) activation features are not completely understood.This study included 35 patients with typical atrial flutter referred for radiofrequency (RF) catheter ablation. The Halo catheter was placed around the tricuspid annulus (TA). The noncontact mapping system (EnSite-3000 with Precision Software) was simultaneously used to map the RA during typical atrial flutter.
