摘要

In this paper, a finite element analysis is conducted to investigate the long-term stability of a cracked tunnel due to creep behavior of surrounding ground and the effectiveness of corresponding remedial works. The purpose of the present research is to investigate the mechanism of the long-term stability of the tunnel due to the time-dependent behavior of the surrounding ground, it is found that the approach for assessing the long-term stability of the cracked tunnel is quite accurate and applicable.
