Pulsation effect on vortex shedding metering

摘要

A lot of experience is gained of most flowmeters and their behaviour with different types of disturbances. Pulsating flow is often generated in technical processes. Pulsation influences flow meters and leads to errors in measurements. Using vortex flowmeters pulsating flow impinges the metering system in different ways. An examination on this topic is necessary to clarify further basics.
