A Network Sensor System - Complete Data Acquisition and Networking Capabilities

The difficulties associated with traditional measurement systems can be minimized or eliminated by using Network Sensor systems. These sensor systems will offer a reduction in interconnecting cables, salvaging of existing analog type transducers through the use of TBIMS, and the ease of use and maintenance. Reliability of the measurement system can be improved because of the Network Sensors self-test capability and the reduced susceptibility to noise of digital signals (EMI, cross-talk, ground loops, etc.). Furthermore, the data correction capability offers improved accuracy. All of these characteristics contribute to cost savings.
