In our paper we want to present thermopile infrared sensors with reduced sensor chip sizes and fabricated in new housing technologies. We will furthermore present likewise reduced mirror optics which enable us to reduce the overall module sizes. This paper will discuss problems and benefits associated with this miniaturization.
