摘要

Owing to the fluctuating of the load and the rotating speed of a machine, the vibration signals of the gear are modulated in the frequency domain, and the characteristic frequency spectrums which contain the fault information of the gear are changed and even lost. So it is very difficult to diagnose gear fault with vibration signal. In the case, how to obtain the valuable information from the vibration signal becomes a very important problem in practice. In the paper, through analyzing theoretically and simulating numerically the demodulation of the frequency modulation signals, the result is presented: it is effective to implement the signal demodulation by applying the method of the changing time-base sampling.
