摘要

Elastic-plastic response of Kirchhoff beams under dynamic loading is discussed. It is assumed that the deflections have the same magnitude with the beam's thickness. As to the physical nonlinearity then we shall confine us to materials with linear strain hardening; the effects of elastic unloading and secondary plastic loading are taken into account. For integration of the equations of motion a Galerkin-type technique is proposed. The integration in the time domain is carried out by the method of central differences.
