摘要

This study deals with the application of a large deformation algorithm named as total elastic incremental plastic (TEIP) strain. The TEIP strain algorithm is coded in a FEM software. Using this software, two numerical examples - one pertaining to large strain and other to large material rotation have been analysed. In other words, we have analysed a typical rod extrusion process in which large strain and a sheet metal bending in which large material rotation is involved. It is observed that this algorithm is very powerful in solving large deformation plasticity problems.
