摘要

A Blast Furnace trough safety lining optimisation strategy has been presented in this paper. This improvement is the result of a coupled thermal, thermomechanical and physico-chemical approach. Results on site have proved the efficiency of the method, safety layers bearing more than 3 millions of tons of pig iron without damage. It should also be mentioned that the application could serve as a guideline for the study of other back lining enduring similar loads.
