摘要

A practical thermoelectric power generation device heated by solar energy is designed and the possibility of manufacture is examined. The device is composed of a solar collector, a heliostat, a kW-range 3-stage cascade-type thermoelectric module and a heat radiator of cubic box type, which is designed for both ground and space use. There are used 3 kinds of modules composed of hamburger (HB)-type thermoelectric elements of GeSi, PbTe and (Bi,Sb){sub}2(Te,Se){sub}3 and each module has 850 ~900 elements. The solar collector is able to supply either 7.6 kW heat on the ground or 13.3 kW heat in the space.
