摘要

The interactions between the FSW/post-FSW process parameters and the metallurgical characteristics govern the microstructural evolution and local variation in friction stir welded alloys. A limited qualitative study of the effects of FSW and post-FSW aging has shown that welding prior to aging has the potential to provide uniform improved properties, particularly in 2XXX series alloys.
