In this paper, the nano-TiO_2 photocatalyst was obtained by hydrolyzation-precipitation method -with the use of metatitanic acid as the precursor. The microstructure and crystal type are characterized by TEM andXRD, which show that the fine, spherical nano-TiO_2 particles with a narrow size distribution are produced when the pH of the solution is 4.0 and the concentration of hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) is 75x10~(-3)g/cm~3. The method is very simple and provides a promising way to prepare nano-TiO_2 photocatalyst.
