A MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR THERMOLUMINESCENCE DOSIMETRY

A TLD management system was developed on a NeXT Step environment. It is consi-sting of 6 major items: 1. A Harshaw/Bicron reader 5500 was interfaced to a NeXT workstation. 2. Glow curve deconvolution can be performed under graphical control. 3. A standard data evaluation is available with automated glow curve deconvolution and pro-tocol. 4. In case of noisy glow curves a low dose evaluation can be applied, which uses background subtraction and Fourier filtering. 5. Statistical evaluation of calibration measurements and a comfortable method for defining the individual calibration factors are available. The possibility of a graphical comparison of glow curves is integrated.
