Continuous copper casting of pre-rolled strips and rolled starter sheets

This paper introduces Lamitref Industries and Conti M~R. Lamitref Industries is a medium sized fabricator of copper and aluminum products and semis in Europe. Conti M~R is the world's first continuous high performance strip casting and rolling line for copper, developed by Lamitref Industries. The benefits of Conti M~R, as a breakthrough technology, are described and compared to conventional processes based on the technical concept. As a result of these benefits Conti M~R offers significant business opportunities supplying pre-rolled strips and rolled starter sheets.
