Simulation of human visual perception properties using the human visual system model

摘要

This article deals with evaluation of subjective and objective image quality. Another way how to assess an image quality is based on human vision models. Special model of the human visual system has been designed, tuned, tested. Its suitability for the image quality assessment has been evaluated using compressed images and by comparison of modelling results with standard subjective quality test results.
