High Hydrostatic Pressure (HHP) Inactivation of Five Pharmacopoeia Strains Including Spores of Bacillus Subtilis

In order to evaluate the high pressure capability to inactivate micro-organisms for pharmaceutical applications (decontamination and sterilization of fragile drugs), we have developed high pressure treatments for strains inactivation in agreement with the European Pharmacopoeia requirements.
