The resilience of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs) is of major public concern, but is an ill-defined property that is challenging to engineer, given the complexity and multi-disciplinarity of CPSs. Cosimulation techniques are therefore attractive options, permitting crossdomain analysis of cyber and physical failures, as well as their prevention, detection and tolerance. We propose the use of a multi-attribute resilience profile as a basis for assessment and trade-off analysis in CPSs. We propose augmentations to the INTO-CPS methods that explicitly use this profile to analyse resilience by means of co-simulation at several design stages. A small pilot study shows how such methods may help the CPS engineer to identify and evaluate new resilient designs.
