摘要

In recent years, the extensive and longstanding water conflicts in the Yellow River Basin on water demand and water supply aggravated the basin's eco - system deterioration. It is essential for river managers and decision makers to create an effective way to fully achieve the goal of scientific decision on water management to optimize eco - benefit in the river basin, furthermore to substantially realize regional social and economic development. Based on introduction on the structure, function, methodology and application status of worldly prevalent model named Landscape Ecological Decision Evaluation and Support System (LEDESS) , this context aims to prudently adapt this system to the Yellow River, especially the estuary delta wetland, to work out the applicability of model jointly with decision -making on the water resources management and protection.
