In sugar plant having co-generation all the measures should be adopted to reduce the steam consumption to get the higher output of power generation by way of conventional methods or nonconventional methods. After all conventional methods known are utilized non-conventional methods are thought and adopted such as pintch technology waste heat recovery etc. Such non-conventional method of heating juice by condensate is adopted to reduce steam consumption & the same condensate is again heated in waste heat recovery unit to gain the loss in heat.
