Development of SATV Super All Terrain Vehicle and HMT Hydro Mechanical Transmission system

摘要

At present many kinds of vehicles are used for the conveyance of the wounded person and rescue material and for rescue operation. But we must choose matched vehicle for each purpose of operation. Considering this situation, we wish to develop new rescue vehicle for disaster, named SATV (Super All Terrain Vehicle) which is possible to do every kinds of work, such as rapid arrival to the calamity spot rescue operation and conveyance of the wounded person, etc. by one vehicle. In this study, first we developed power transmission for high speed, economic running, and second we made tentative design of vehicle under carriage that was possible to run at disaster terrain and narrow spot.
