The cationic liposomes consisted of 3β [N-(N', N'-dimethylaminoethan)-carbamoyl] cholesterol (DC-Choi) and soybean phosphatidylcholine (SPC) are designed to enhance cellular uptake of antisense oligonucleotides (ASON). The size and incorporation efficiency of liposomes are determined. Transfection conditions including cell lines, charge ratio and serum concentration are investigated.
