The Southeastern Conference on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (SECTAM) is operated in accordance with the By-Laws established by the Policy Committee. This manual is intended to cover procedures for effectively implementing the By-Laws as they relate to meetings and general operations. Nothing in this manual is to diminish the responsibility and authority of the Executive Chair or the Host Institution. Rather, the purpose is to clarify and codify those duties. A copy of the By-Laws is incorporated into this manual.
