摘要

The environment that a hypervelocity electromagnetic (EM) launched kinetic energy (KE) projectile must survive is more demanding than traditional high-velocity cannons. This paper develops a methodology for analysis of EM KE projectiles. As an example a class of projectiles is presented that represent robust, efficient, armature shapes for KE projectiles.
