For creating safe, secure and reliable society, a concept of human support system using humanoid robots is proposed; humanoid robots exist in our environment and protect us from dangers. Four dangerous/insecure cases in modern society-traffic accident, public order, home security and care-are analyzed, and how to apply the humanoid robots are discussed.
