PROJECTED ZERO DISPERSION ― A CONCEPT FOR LINK DESIGN

摘要

The concepts of PZD, the LSD plane and the trimmer introduced in this paper, are all related to dispersion management and all should prove useful in manufacturing dispersion compensating modules and in designing links with minimum dispersion across the WDM band of interest. With correctly specified parameters and with friendly design tools, link dispersion management at all stages will become more accurate, as required for high-speed and long-reach fiber-optics communication.
