Twenty growing pigs were allocated to four experimental diets in a 10-week trial. Diet 1 was based on 40% Maize (M) and served as the control; diet 2 contained 40% sun-dried cassava meal (SDCM), diet 3 contained 40% fermented cassava meal (FCM) and diet 4 contained 40% mixture of sun-dried and fermented cassava meal at ratio of 1:1 (SDCM + FCM). The animals were given 40% of their body weight throughout the period of this experiment.
