As aggressive intensity of a cavitating jet at optimum condition is larger than that of a water jet in air, and a cavitating jet in air was successfully realized injecting a high speed water jet into a low speed water jet using a concentric nozzle, the ability of digging of concrete by the cavitating jet in air was investigated experimentally. It was demonstrated that the removal area of concrete by the cavitating jet in air was 4.75 times wider than that of the conventional waterjet in air.
